This lens is designed for digital cameras with APS-C sensors. So, the image-circle is not enough for 35mm full frame.
I confirmed
its image-circle by a film camera Z-50P.
More than around 24mm is useful for 35mm full frame cameras.
Z-50P is a film camera
debuted in 1993. DAL18-55mm was debuted in
21th century for digital cameras and it has no
aperture ring.
Can
Z-50P control DAL18-55mm ?
Z-50P shows shutter and aperture.
The aperture changes according to Z-50P.
I think this combination offers proper exposures.
How about SFXn ? SFXn is a film camera debuted in 1988.
Neither manual nor aperture-priority is displayed.
Program and shutter-priority are displayed. But it does not look like that the
aperture of DAL18-55mm changes correctly.
